Training Programme

The Mainstreaming Equalities Organisational Development Programme is a set of four full day training sessions, designed to support organisations to mainstream equality across their operations and functions.  Its focus is on organisational actions and it includes individual organisational support. GCVS are in the process of seeking ILM endorsement for the Programme.

The Programme was initially developed by Rosemarie McIlwhan on behalf of Glasgow Council for the Voluntary Sector and funded by Glasgow Social Economy Partnership and the Equality and Human Rights Commission.

In 2010, funding was received from {Supporting Voluntary Action} (link) to update the Programme in line with the Equality Act 2010, and to deliver the Programme to Third Sector Interface and National Intermediary organisations around Scotland between September 2010 and September 2011.

If you would like to attend a future Programme please email GCVS Training and ask to be put on the mailing list for information on future training dates.

Please Note: This Handook does not replace the GCVS Mainstreaming Equalities Training Programme but includes some of the key information that relates to the course.
